Our History
My name is Judah Becker. I was born and raised a Jew. I became a Christian in 1971. I was a natural evangelist, and I love to train people. Mercy House Ministry emerged when we went global. I was broken by the number of children who were sold into sex trafficking. That has led me to go to 24 different countries to rescue children. In the early years, I never considered having a non-profit organization. I funded the mission trips with the money God provided for me. It has been a long 50 years of ministry. I thank God for all of the staff and volunteers the Lord has given us. We have learned so much along the way. The older I get the more that I learn from the Lord that it is the family of God that must be in the field, either in prayer and provision, or in going. We have placed into the hands all of the local missionaries that we meet, the responsibility and accountability to do the work of the gospel. I am not satisfied to just evangelize, I must disciple and train people to be ministe
In this millennium, I became aware of the need for more people to participate financially and spiritually. So, we formed a non-profit organization called Change a Destiny. We originally brought coffee from Thailand and used the sub organization called Mercy House Coffee. It was named after our first orphanage called Mercy House. Later, it became Mercy House Ministry, as we branched out in other areas.
